An outstanding event took place in Balatonfüred for professionals interested in heat treatment and technical materials science, where the 31st National Conference and Exhibition on Heat Treatment and Materials Science in Mechanical Engineering was held. The three-day event aimed to share professional knowledge, exchange experiences, and showcase the latest technological innovations.
EUMETROLOGY Kft. and TEKT Kft. participated enthusiastically in the event, where members of the company's training and consulting team contributed with exciting presentations to the program. Our trainer, Szabolcs Horváth, held a lecture titled "Evaluation of CQI-9 heat treatment systems – An opportunity for stabilizing processes," in which he analyzed the operation and evaluation of systems aimed at improving the quality of heat treatment processes.
Following the presentation, our metrology engineer expert, Szabolcs Pántya, introduced the importance of 3D surface scanner technologies in his presentation titled "The role of 3D scanning in heat treatment processes." In his talk, he highlighted how 3D scanning contributes to more accurate workflows and higher quality engineering services.
A special moment on Thursday was when Dr. Tamás Tóth, the conference president, introduced the live demonstration of the HEXAGON SmartScan VR800 3D surface scanner, where Szabolcs Pántya showcased the groundbreaking 3D surface scanner technology. During the demonstration, the focus was on how 3D scanning increases efficiency, and participants had the chance to experience the advantages of the next-generation 3D structured light surface scanning technology, including its speed and precision. - it can cover six different fields of view, and switching from one to another requires no reassembly, waiting, or recalibration (unlike previous devices or competitors);

We were delighted that the conference participants could see for themselves that thanks to this next-generation technology, with the large field of view, we can easily obtain a complete image, and then, by switching to a smaller field of view, capture very precise and detailed images of important details.
