COORDINATE MEASUREMENT TECHNOLOGY I, BASICS

CHAPTERS
1. Introduction, fundamentals of coordinate metrology
2. Measurement evaluation, basic principles
3. Structure of coordinate measuring machines, and their accuracy verification
4. Sensors used in coordinate measuring machines
5. Styli, stylus systems, and their calibration
6. Factors influencing and disturbing the measurement
Practical session on a coordinate measuring machine
The field of coordinate measurement technology is highly complex, with a broad theoretical background, and our training focuses on handing over this knowledge.
This training is especially recommended for those who are just beginning to explore the field, or who have had little to no prior experience with coordinate measurement technology. However, it is also ideal for experienced professionals who wish to clarify, solidify, and expand their existing knowledge. The goal is for participants to be able to select the appropriate measuring machine, sensor, and stylus for their future tasks, as well as identify potential sources of error. The training also includes basic knowledge from our Technical drawing interpretation (ISO GPS, GD&T) course. In addition to delivering theoretical knowledge, we place significant emphasis on applying it in practice, which is why the training is interactive, with modern and easily understandable course materials, and on the final day, particular attention is given to practice.

Practical session on a coordinate measuring machine
Building upon the knowledge gained in the Coordinate Measurement Technology I course or existing expertise, participants will explore the entire measurement process for a product, from measurement planning, preparation and programming to executing the measurement.
This training is recommended for any professional who wants to organize, deepen, and expand their existing knowledge of coordinate measurement technology with new insights. The training also includes advanced content from our Technical drawing interpretation (ISO GPS, GD&T) course. While theoretical knowledge is essential, we focus heavily on its practical application. The training is interactive, using modern, easily understandable course materials, and on the final day, special emphasis is placed on practice to solidify learning.
